Google released the Google Pixel and the Pixel XL last year which were also the first smartphones to be manufactured and designed by Google. Earlier, Google released the Nexus smartphones every year which were manufactured in partnership with one of the many Android smartphone manufacturers. Last year, Google decided to take the matter into in its own hands and scrapped the Nexus line. This meant that the Nexus 6p and the 5x which were launched in 2015 remain to be the last Nexus smartphones from Google. Google is continuing its Pixel smartphones after the overwhelming success of the Pixel and the Pixel XL and the company is expected to reveal the Pixel 2 as well as the Pixel XL 2.
Now, a leaked listing on GFXBench shows off a smartphone with the model name Google Pixel XL2. According to the GFXBench listing, the next generation of the Pixel XL will come with an 18:9 display aspect ratio. This is the same aspect ratio as found on the LG G6. The Pixel XL2 will feature a 2.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor same as the OnePlus 5 and the Adreno 540 GPU. The listing also shows that the Google Pixel XL2 also boasts 4GB of RAM and was running Android 7.1.1 Nougat at the time of its testing. Also, the Google Pixel XL2 boasts 128GB of internal flash memory, an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor, and a 12-megapixel rear camera.
