Motorola has finally launched the Moto C Plus in India at an event held by the company. Motorola has already launched the budget smartphones for this year like the Moto G5 as well as the Moto G5 Plus from the Moto G series as well as the Moto E4 and the Moto E4 Plus from the Moto E series. The company’s Moto C Plus is the first smartphone to launch in the Moto C series which has been recently introduced by the company. The Moto C Plus has some interesting talking points like the price tag of Rs. 6,999, Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box as well as a massive 4000 mAh battery to power the device.
Talking further about the specifications of the smartphone, the Moto C Plus features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC paired with 1GB or 2GB of RAM. You also get 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via a microSD slot (up to 32GB). The camera included on the smartphone is an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12-micron pixels, autofocus, 71-degree field of view and a LED flash. It also gets a 2-megapixel front-facing camera similar to the Moto C. The smartphone houses a 4000mAh battery that is much larger than the 2350mAh battery inside the Moto C. The Moto C Plus measures 144×72.3×10 mm and weighs 162 grams.
