Samsung has been known to launch the Galaxy Note 7’s refurbished version next month. The refurbished version of the Galaxy Note 7 is known to be called the Galaxy Note FE which stands for ‘Fandom Edition’. The launch of the Galaxy Note 7’s refurbished edition comes after the Note 7 debacle which happened last year. We have also known that the Galaxy Note FE is rumored to launch on July 7. Now, we have a look at the specifications of the Galaxy Note FE via a GFXBench listing.
According to the listing available on GFXBench, the Galaxy Note 7R or Note FE will come with a 5.7-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display rather than the QHD display seen on the original Note 7 last year. Also, the Galaxy Note FE is known to have a smaller battery than the Note 7 because of the battery issues on the phone last year. Similar to the Note 7, the Galaxy Note FE will be powered by octa-core 2.6GHz Exynos 8890 chipset as well as 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Also, the camera setup from the Note 7 has been retained in the Note FE. The device will have a 12-megapixel primary camera as well as a 5-megapixel secondary camera. However, one thing to note is that the Galaxy Note FE will come with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box rather than Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Also, the Galaxy Note FE is rumored to have a smaller 3200mAh battery rather than the 3500mAh battery on the original Note 7. The pricing details of the smartphone have not been known yet but the phone is rumored to be priced at $630.
