Samsung has recently unveiled the whole new lineup of smartphones in its Galaxy J series for this year which includes the Galaxy J3, Galaxy J5 as well as Galaxy J7 2017 smartphones. Now, the company has launched a new variant of the Galaxy J5 known as the Galaxy J5 Pro in Thailand. The Galaxy J5 Pro is almost similar to the Galaxy J5 2017 and the only difference from the original model is that the smartphone has an upgrade in terms of RAM as well as internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 was launched earlier with 2GB RAM & 16GB storage and now this been has upgraded in the Galaxy J5 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 Pro comes with 5.2-inch AMOLED display on the front which has a resolution of 720 x 1280. Internally, it is powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC which has an octa-core processor that is clocked at 1.6GHz. This is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The Galaxy J5 Pro sees a 50% increase from the Galaxy J5 2017 in terms of RAM as well as storage but that is the only difference in both the phones. Talking about the camera on the Galaxy J5 Pro, the smartphone packs the same 13-megapixel on the front as well as the rear camera which is same as the Galaxy J5 2017.
Talking about the software, the Galaxy J5 Pro also runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and the smartphone is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery capable of lasting a whole day on single charge. As far as the availability of the Galaxy J5 Pro is concerned, the smartphone has currently been launched in Thailand for a price of 9,990 Thai Baht which equates to Rs. 19,000 in India. There has been no word from the company about the wider release of the Galaxy J5 Pro
