Motorola has launched the much-awaited smartphone from the company for this year, the Moto Z2 Force. The Moto Z2 Force is the successor to the Moto Z Force which was launched in the US last year. As far as the Moto Z2 Force is concerned, the major highlight of the device is the ShatterShield Display which helps protect the device’s screen. Apart from the ShatterShield display, the Moto Z2 Force has top-of-the-line hardware as well which is expected from the company’s flagship smartphone. The Moto Z2 Force also comes with a Dual Camera Setup on the back of the phone.

As far as the specifications of the phone are concerned, the Moto Z2 Force comes with a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) ShatterShield POLED display. Apart from that, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor which is the latest processor from Qualcomm. Apart from that, the Moto Z2 Force comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The smartphone has storage option of 64GB and 128GB where the 4GB RAM variant comes with 64GB internal storage and the 6GB RAM variant comes with 128GB internal storage.

As far as the dual camera setup on the Moto Z2 Force is concerned, the smartphone has 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel rear cameras with one of them being a monochrome sensor which captures the image in Black and White only. The camera is powered by Sony IMX386 sensors with 1.25-micron pixels, and a f/2.0 aperture. The setup also features PDAF, laser autofocus, and a CCT dual-LED flash. The Moto Z2 Force has 22% less battery capacity than the Moto Z Force and the smartphone has 2730mAh battery. Apart from that, the Moto Z2 Force runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and the company has already promised the Android O update for the smartphone

Apart from that, Motorola also announced new Moto Mods alongside the Moto Z2 Force. The new Moto Mods include the Moto 360 Camera Moto Mod which can capture 4K 360-degree video alongside 3D audio. Also, the Moto 360 Camera Moto Mod has the ability to capture 150-degree wide-angle still images. The Moto Z2 Force has been launched in the US starting at $799. The pre-orders for the Moto Z2 Force start in the US from August 10.
